Win7 RTM Build Picked?!?

According to several sources the Win7 RTM Build has been decided.

7.7600.16384.090710-1945 is the potential final build number and we're still expecting the company to announce the finalisation of Windows 7 at the annual Worldwide Partner Conference on Monday providing there are no last minute recompiles.

This comes from Wzor via Neowin.net. Many are saying that this announcement will be done tomorrow at the Conference they are having. At this point there is no confirmation by Microsoft. Shocking i know. But the only thing to do is wait, as it is less than 24 hours away.

Well actually this has been proven false information. Microsoft said in their Windows 7 Blog that they have not yet picked a RTM Build. It was expected to be announced Monday or Tuesday but never was. It seems they found some more bugs that needed to be fixed before they could release it.

VLK Business people will get Win7 on Sept 1st. This was announced at the WPC in New Orleans this week. So that means that it will be picked soon as TechNET and MSDN are told they will get it a few weeks after it goes final but before the public can get it. With that train of thought they would have to get it before Sept 1st.

Just have to wait and see...
