I am using Windows 10 on my old I5 laptop. I have a strange problem. Sometimes, when I start my laptop, it starts fine and able to login to my Windows user account.
But sometimes, it don't go to log on screen, it takes me to the repair screen, and if I select the repair option, it takes about 70 to 80 minutes, and after repairing finishes, it again bring me to the repair screen. If I select the option to reboot from the repairing screen, after 9 to 10 attempts, it goes to log on screen (without attempting repairing).
Some times, when I log on to my Windows 10 account, it gets stuck and then I have to power it off by long pressing the power button. And then again it brings me to the repair screen.
I am confused if it is a software problem or a hardware problem. Should I reinstall my Windows or should I look for some hardware fix?
