Windows 7 Recovery Disc Does Not See My Windows 7 Install

Yesterday, I had a problem with my computer, and it could not boot (the BCD was messed up, but I fixed it another way). I tried using the Windows 7 System Recovery Disc, and while I was able to start up the CD, the automatic boot-fix program on the CD did not work. When I browse the computer files with the CD, it sees the HDD that my Windows 7 install is on, but it does not see any valid Windows 7 Installs. Am I doing something wrong? I'm using a 64-bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate, and I downloaded the 64-bit recovery disc. My computer is:

Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Intel Core 2 Duo E6420
4GB DDR2 RAM
Radeon HD4870
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L

Thanks for any help!
