Windows 7 won't boot after installing Ubuntu 10.04

After explicitly following your instructions for installing Ubuntu 10.04 I do indeed get the Grub2 menu. However, after selecting the Windows 7 option I get the following errors:

error: no such device: f2cab9b7cab97905.
error: no such partition

The menu entry reads as follows:

insmod ntfs
set root='(hd0,3)'
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set f2cab9b7cab97905
chainloader +1

Help!

Remove the search line at boot time and see if that helps. I don't know why its searching with uuid for the correct device/partition when the line right above that specifically identifies it as (hd0,3).
