Windows and Windows.old

I've mistakenly installed a second copy of Windows Vista over my existing copy and the

C:\drive now shows that i have C:\windows and C:\windows.old. Is there any way i can recover and get back to the old version.

Addendum:

all my personal files and additional programs are still within C:\Windows.old

Sorry, ther's no way to reuse the old version. But use the new version and copy all the file you need from Windows.old to Windows new version. I've done it now about 15 times and it's the same every time. Good luck.
PS. After all transfer you can delete Windows.old. Just highlight Windows.old and click delete. Good luck. Your computer will be running like new.
