hello, i'm a newbie to this stuff so here goes.. first vista would only get to the black screen with the cursor visible, then tried all F8 options still nothing. I downloaded the vista repair disk from the neo forum. changed the bios to boot from cd. the windows screen came up to "repair", did that. clicked repair, was advised no boot errors. clicked system restore, big red X advising no dates found. used command prompt to chkdsk and said 4kb in bad sectors. this is my new stepdaughter's computer, dell 1525, no disks included. my question is what to do now? she had no antivirus/firewall and an avid user of limewire to no telling what kind of hate and discontent is on the computer...any help is appreciated!
