Hi Catcraft, welcome to NST.
Did you tick the "grub isn't ...." box or not ?
It needs to be ticked if the Ubuntu partition is on a different HDD to W7, unticked if they share a HDD.

Hello, i solved the problem by installing ubuntu on a primary partition behind win7. I don't know why the ubuntu installer has created a logical partition by default...but bcd is doing his job :wtf:
