Here is how it looks now.

There are a total of 3 entries listed in the bootloader.

Default: Microsoft Windows Vista
Timeout: 10 seconds.
Boot Drive: C:\

Entry #1
Name: Microsoft Windows Vista
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe

Entry #2
Name: Ubuntu
BCD ID: {35072ff7-eff3-11de-9564-002197267711}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \ubuntu\winboot\wubildr.mbr

Entry #3
Name: NeoGrub Bootloader
BCD ID: {35072ff8-eff3-11de-9564-002197267711}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \NST\NeoGrub.mbr
Could I use Easybcd and edit out Entry #2 and manually delete all the files belonging to wubi and at next boot only have the Vista and Neogrub entries there and all is still working.

Or is it better to do the wubi uninstall from the Vista Add/Remove programs automatically? and use Neogrub to add a grub to it again?

Both wubi and Neogrub has .mbr does that mean that my Vista already lost it's own mbr and need to have some special windows cd to restore the mbr if I have to uninstall neogrub in future?

What I quoted above: Is that the real boot entry or a kind of summary of it?
I mean could I edit that one or have to go into a bigger one that have the real text?

Thanks I will set it as solved. oops there is no edit that allow me to set it as solved.

I just uninstalled from windows Vista add prgrams menu and it took away wubin ubuntu and gaveback the 17GB loopmounted file and the Neogrub entry is still there and everything just works. thanks indeed.
so now I have dual boot instead of triple ditto.
