XP = Reboot.

I got vista on C: and XP on D: i made the boot menu with bcd for vista but when i go to chose XP it just reboots the PC and im back to the menu.

Is there a fix for this?

There are a total of 2 entries listed in the Vista Bootloader.
Bootloader Timeout: 30 seconds.
Default OS: Microsoft Windows Vista

As for the NTLDR and NTDETECT files i got no clue where do i get them? or should that be just C:\?
 
They should just be located in the C:\ drive. You should be able to find them in the root of your XP drive.
