Hi, first post here so allow me to introduce myself. My name is Matt, I am a computer/network consultant and I am having issues with a users device. Basically her computer had a corrupt BCD so I restored it and once in Vista used EasyBCD to get everything back in tip top shape(great product by the way).

Usually I have no issues but this time everytime I boot into XP it just goes to a black screen and hitting CTRL+ALT+DEL just reboots it. It boots to Vista just fine. I have tried about everything I can think of. I had to change the Vista Partition to active and installed the NTDETECT, NTLDR and boot.ini into the root C:\ drive (Vista is C:\ and active XP is D:\). I have already read through all the XP setup documents and fixed all the other issues(NTLDR missing etc....) Here is my boot.ini and EasyBCD Detailed setup:

default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]

I have tried changing the boot.ini to partition 1 and 3 and also set xp to point to the D:\ partition in EasyBCD but still same outcome. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
