XP-Vista dual boot on 2 disks

I am using 1.7.2.

Vista is pre-installed on disk C: (1st physical disk). I successfully installed in dual boot mode XP on disk G: (2nd physical disk). Through EasyBCD Add/Remove entries I defined these 2 OS's with their respective disk locations. When I reboot, I get XP without the dual choice.

In Manage Bootloader I did a Write MBR with Reinstall option ticked. No change.

Below is a copy of the View Settings. You'll notice that Vista is shown as being in partition U: (!!), not C:, despite my definitions.

Please let me know what I did wrong.

There are a total of 2 entries listed in the Vista Bootloader.
Bootloader Timeout: 10 seconds.
Default OS: Microsoft Windows XP Edition familiale

Entry #1

Name: Microsoft Windows Vista
BCD ID: {9757a316-1ab6-11dd-aa2b-0013e8fbd779}
Drive: U:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows

Entry #2

Name: Microsoft Windows XP Edition familiale
BCD ID: {default}
Drive: G:\
Bootloader Path: \NTLDR

Hi gswiss,

There is a known bug in 1.7.x that results in this behavior on certain Vista configurations and it has been resolved for future versions of EasyBCD.

To fix it:
EasyBCD -> Change Settings
Choose the Vista entry, and change its drive to C:

Thank you, it worked. Actually, the parameters for Vista were displayed correctly in Change Settings ; I just pressed Save Settings.
