XP + Vista dual boot on different hard drives

Hi,

I am dual booting XP and Vista like this,

SATA Drive: VISTA
IDE: XP

to boot into one of this ..i have to change the boot seq everytime in the bios...I tried to use EasyBCD but it is not selecting my XP or i could not select my XP partition...

How do i enable bootloader at the startup..please someone help me ..
