XP32, Vista64, Kubuntu9.04 AMD64 tri-boot problem

Hi everyone.
I have been trying to get my tri-boot system up and running for a few days now. I am using EasyBCD 2.0 build60 and I can boot XP and Vista with no problems but Kubuntu just won't cooperate. If anyone can help me, please let me know what I can do 'cause I'm out of ideas. Here is my system config:
-single SATA hard drive with XP Pro32 on the first partition
-Vista Home Premium 64 on second partition
-Kubuntu 9.04 AMD64 on (hd0,5) (ext4) with Grub installed on the same partition (/dev/sda6)
All NeoGrub stuff is on the first (XP) partition.
Here is what happens:
-If I create an entry for Kubuntu checking the box that says "Grub is not insta....." the system crashes to a grub shell
-If I use any of the other scripts I found in the forums I end up with an error 15 or 18 saying "file... not found"
I'll post the whole menu.lst from the grub on /dev/sda6 maybe someone can figure out what's going on.
Thank you in advance.

Code:
# menu.lst - See: grub(8), info grub, update-grub(8)
# grub-install(8), grub-floppy(8),
# grub-md5-crypt, /usr/share/doc/grub
# and /usr/share/doc/grub-doc/.

Hi Bordea, welcome to NST.
If your Linux is on the same HDD, you don't need to use Neogrub.
Try deleting the Linux entry and add it again without ticking the "grub is not........." box. and it should successfully link directly to the grub in the Linux partition you select from the drop-down.

That "grub is not...." box is due for an overhaul in an upcoming release to add a bit more information.
It's not sufficiently clear at the moment in which circumstances it should be ticked, though it does get a mention in the last point of the FAQ sticky.
