Autoplay not coming up

Did you do it from Safe Mode? Just doing it in Windows doesnt mean it is a clean machine. Could be a driver that is infected that is preventing this. I have seen many viruses in the Driver folder for Windows. Not seen or scanned while in normal mode.

Addendum:

  1. Locate and then click the following subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

    1. Right-click NoDriveTypeAutoRun.
    2. Click Modify.
    3. In the Value data box, type 91.

  2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
  3. Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
  4. In the navigation pane, under Data, if the value for allocatecdroms is 0, go to step 5.
  5. In the navigation pane, under Data, if the value for allocatecdroms is 1, right-click allocatecdroms, and then click Modify.
  6. In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
  7. Exit Registry Editor.
  8. Test to determine whether the issue is resolved.

Right-click in the values side of the screen after you have selected the explorer sub-key and add the d-word value and its setting for the enabled state as the article outlines.

Windows victim 6 trillion. It's probably a stealth virus thats messed it up for good. I think its time for a re-install :frowning:

It doesn't sound like virus/malware to me anymore... Seems like a configuration/corruption problem.
