Dual Windows 11 24H2 on separate HDs

I think I must be being a bit dense but I can't for the life of me see how to add an entry for the Windows installed on the second HD.

Using the BIOS boot menu I can boot off either drive.

Both drives show in Disk Management but only the one currently being booted has a drive letter.

How do I select a source the the Windows on the other drive when is doesn't show in the pull doesn't menu in EasyBCD

I'm stumped :frowning:

EasyBCD is a mirror of Windows Boot Management so try a full restart of the system. I. E. Power iff and on. EasyBCD should also only be installed on the first drive of the two.

It's been restarted a number of times adn regardless of which disk is selected from the boot menu although disk managment can see the other disk OK, it doesn't get a drive letter and doesn't appear in Windows explorer.

Bonjour. Il faut aller dans " BCD Deployment " et le faire manuellement. Tu confirmes le bon disque sur lequel se trouve ton win 11 bootable et tu valides pas " oui " à la question suivante. J'ai eu ce même problème et l'ai réglé ainsi. Ciao

I'm sure you were being very helpful but I'm afraid I failed my French O level exam back in 1971 and have no idea what you said, but thnaks for trying

Oh yes of course, I translate. You have to go to "BCD Deployment" and do it manually. You confirm the correct disk on which your bootable win 11 is located and you validate with "yes" to the next question. I had this same problem and solved it like this. Ciao
