dualboot works only if i add specific entry

Hi.
I have tried to boot from external hd with win8 to go.
if i try to boot from easybcd by choosing the sepcific hd i get the screen with winload.exe problem.
if i add a new entry manualy in the easybcs menu with win8 as the operatin system,
the external hd boot correctly.
what is the differnece ?
what can i do in order to allow simple boot by choosing the specific HD directly ?
