Microsoft Outlook stores data in PST file format while Gmail is an online webmail service. So when a user want to import PST file to Gmail then there two method to import:
First use GWMMO tool and install and run to upload PST file to Gmail account. This is an free method to import single PST file at a time. Also you cann't migrate corrupted mailbox with this solution.
Second method is to use an automated solution to migrate mailbox from PST file to Gmail account. MailsDaddy PST to IMAP migration tool is also known as PST to Gmail conversion. The applicataion is built on simple UI interface so each level of user can easily operate the solution and migrate mailbox from PST to Gmail. The application offers batch migration, filter conversion, date filter, selected folder migration etc. User can also try the free demo edition first and move few emails from each folder. The software maintain folder structure, header, inline images, meta propertis and formatting throughout the process.

If the Outlook data is already available as a PST, you have a few ways to move it into Gmail. For a small archive, you can use Outlook to open the PST, add the Gmail account through IMAP, and copy the required folders/messages across. Gmail will upload the messages and attachments, but large archives can make this process slow and folder mapping may need some cleanup afterward.

For a larger PST, BitRecover PST to Gmail Wizard is another option to consider. It can directly migrate PST data to Gmail without requiring Outlook, with options to select folders and apply date, sender, recipient, or subject filters. It also preserves attachments, email properties, folder hierarchy, and converts Outlook folders into Gmail labels where applicable.

I’d test one PST folder first and compare the message count, attachments, and labels in Gmail before starting the full migration.

If you’re trying to migrate PST to Gmail, I’d recommend using a PST-to-Gmail migration tool instead of doing it manually. Just add your PST file, sign in to your Gmail account, select the required folders, and start the migration. For a large PST file, you can also try Advik PST Migrator, which helps transfer emails along with their folders and attachments.
