How to Migrate PST file to Gmail?

Microsoft Outlook stores data in PST file format while Gmail is an online webmail service. So when a user want to import PST file to Gmail then there two method to import:

Manual Method​

  1. Add your Gmail account to Outlook
    • Open Microsoft Outlook.

  2. Open the PST file
    • Go to File → Open & Export → Open Outlook Data File.

  4. Wait for synchronization
    • Outlook will upload the copied emails to your Gmail account.
    • Keep Outlook open and connected to the internet until the synchronization is completed.
    • The time required depends on the size of the PST file and your internet connection.
  5. Verify the migration
    • Log in to Gmail through your web browser.
    • Check the migrated emails, folders/labels, attachments, and message counts.
