Hello all, I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro 32 from XP Pro 32 on the day of release and ran into an issue with one of my drives.
I added a new drive to make my new default boot drive (H
this is what windows 7 is currently installed and running on.
My old drive (C
is what XP is installed on and I want to remove this drive but whenever I do I get the "NTLDR is missing press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"
MY boot order is correct and I've tried using a copy of the Windows 7 repair utility to try to repair the drive but nothing has worked.
I downloaded EasyBCD and tried the Reinstall Vista Bootloader process but that did nothing.
Does ANYONE have a fix to this issue? I really want to get this drive out of my tower!
I noticed that within EasyBCD there is a add/remove entries tab and a option to remove the XP entry. if i do that and then repair the MBR will my issue be solved?
