Hi everyone,
I've tried adding an entry to my OSX installation which I can boot from if I use F12 during post.
If I try using the entry I end up with the error,

Calling chainbooter
Bootmgr is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart.

Now, during the boot process there is a point at which it says

Press any key (Where is the any key?) within 2 seconds for options.
If I then type in "81" it boots fine.
I have noticed during the very quick screens that come up it is trying to boot "80".
What can I do to change the "80" to "81".

Thanks

No,Build 55,I'll see if I can find it,I had quite a job finding 55.

Addendum:

OK,build 60 made no difference.
The problem is quite clear.
After selecting the OSX entry there is a screen that clearly states,

Boot device 0x80

It then gives me 2 seconds to change the boot device.
If I change the boot device to 81 it carries on and boots OSX fine.
I need to know how to make the boot loader boot 0x81 on its own.

Im not positive but see if you can change it to 81 with the existing entry from the change settings page.

The only options there are C:\ D:\ G:\ and BOOT.
I know it's not C D or G and I have just tried BOOT and that made no difference.

Re-add, checking the "Use custom drive number" box and providing 81 for the number on the Mac tab thats on the Add/Remove entries page.

The only numbers I have to choose from are 0 - 9.
The 81 I need to enter is a HEX number.
I noticed I have 10 partitions which would corrispond to the numbers 0 - 9 and so I tried using both 5 (counting form 0) and 6 (counting from 1) but no luck.
The problem is it is looking for the file to boot on drive 80 not 81.

Hello,

i have the same problem,
i will press the mac menu and the must start the mac, but i don't will press a key within 2 seconds and enter two-digital bla bla...

I a solution in sight (sorry for my bad english)??

EasyBCD 2.0a (55) is a great work....

I have already made it very clear that this is a known issue in the current builds of EasyBCD 2.0 and I'm working on a solution. Complaining about it won't solve it any sooner.

keinerdoof, welcome to NeoSmart Technologies. Hang in there, we're hoping to address the problem soon.

Sorry,I didn't know it is a known issue.
My old pc was multibooting fine with the old bcd so I haven't been keeping up with the posts.
I have just come back to bcd because I have built a new pc.
Thanks for all the work you are doing.
Mike
