Song Lyrics

I started this thread at several other forums, and it's always quite popular. Basically, you just post lyrics to your favorite songs. I can't post any right now, because copy and paste isn't working for some weird reason.

Well, I got this new album of "Drowning Pool" its called "Full Circle"(2007) and I love it, that part of lyrics is from song called "Reason I'm Alive" I like this song :grinning:

You're the reason that i'm alive
Twist that knife but I just won't die
You're the reason that i'm alive (reason that I'm alive)
Leave you here as you watch me fly away
Woah-oh, woah-oh, as you watch me fly away
Watch me fly away.
I love song by Helloween, its called "If I could fly" from album called "The Dark Ride"(2000) I know those words, I love them.. they go like this:

No fear, no pain
Nobody left to blame
I'll try alone
Make destiny my own
I learn to free my mind
Myself I now must find
Once more
Once more
 I love it..

Well that is just the statrt of my collection. I know it is wide and diverse. Which is what i like. A little bit of everything. That way no matter what mood i am in something new always come on.

I have about another 80GB on a External drive that is at a buddies house right now. That has more Classic Rock and stuff on there yet. :tongueout:

The stuff on the 80GB is more like that. Bands like Bad Company, Journey among many others are all on there. Like i said it was classic rock with The Led and all that good stuff. My friend and me are big fans he jsut needed the drive since he got a new HDD and wanted to make a backup of the data. :tongueout:

I will get it back soon and have a backup as well. That way we have a backup at a different location. But it is a lot of good music. The Wall, NIN, jsut so much i cant even think of it. Among the various video game sounds and song files that we have.

My problem is that both iTunes and Windows Media Player are not truly random when you turn on shuffle and repeat.

I used to listen to music all the time, and I had about 30GB of music (nothing on your collection, Mak, but still :tongueout:) however, everything up to WMP 11 would "randomly" play the same songs over and over. Like perhaps I would only get to listen to the same random 5GB playing over and over, but it would never not even once (there's a play-count column) randomly choose to play one of the other 25GB - though they play just fine if I launch them manually.

Same thing noticed here: http://macslash.org/article.pl?sid=04/04/02/1920209

Interesting problem, Guru.

I never play songs randomly :tongueout:, for a change. I like to play determined album by determined artist, and I always know what I want to hear. First, when I get new album, I play it all, a few times, and then I repeat my fave song, sometimes I play one song most of a day. :grinning:

------------

Okay, this is first lyrics about computers. Song is by Black Sabbath, album released in 1992. Great song

Computer God

Waiting for the revolution
New clear vision - genocide (or is it nuclear revolution ???)
Computerize god - it's the new religion
Program the brain - not the heartbeat

Onward all you crystal soldiers
Touch tomorrow - energize
Digital dreams
And you're the next correction
Man's a mistake so we'll fix it, yeah

Take a look at your own reflection
Right before your eyes
It turns to steel

There's another side of heaven
This way - to technical paradise
Find it on the other side
When the walls fall down

Love is automatic pleasure
Virtual reality
Terminal hate - it's a calculation
Send in the child for connection

Take a look at the toys around you
Right before your eyes
The toys are real

There's another side of heaven
This way - to technical paradise
Find it on the other side
When the walls fall down

Midnight confessions
Never heal the soul
What you believe is fantasy

Your past is your future
Left behind
Lost in time
Will you surrender

Waiting for the revolution
Program the brain
Not the heartbeat

Deliver us to evil
Deny us of our faith
Robotic hearts bleed poison
On the world we populate

Virtual existence
With a superhuman mind
The ultimate creation
Destroyer of mankind

Termination of our youth
For we do not compute
No !

Description: From "Endless Waltz"

Sung by: Two-Mix
Lyrics: Two-Mix
Composition: Two-Mix
Romanization/Translation: Jlyrics Translation Team

English Translation
I feel your love reflection
In your eyes as they gaze back into mine
Writing a distant, neverending story
As if throwing off the sadness and pain, [1]
I flap my wings,
and in my heart, I spread wide
the wings of courage that you've given to me. [2]
Ah... I want to feel the beat of this irreplacable love [3]
so much, it's heart-wrenching and maddening.
I feel your love reflection
passionately uniting our dreams into one, [4]
in our youth, we seek each other out,
without being afraid of our own faults!!
I feel your love reflection
In your eyes as they gaze back into mine
Writing a distant, neverending story
We quietly express our overflowing emotions
with our bare skin,
as if to embrace [5]
the strength to be gentle...
Ah... Aa, I want to hold my head up high,
And lithely go beyond this violent era! [6]
I feel your love reflection
The truth that we share
As long as we exchange kisses,
we don't need anything else anymore!!
I feel your love reflection
We'll stand firm and fight, [7]
believing in the passion we'll never give up. It's our neverending story
I feel your love reflection
passionately uniting our dreams into one,
in our youth, we seek each other out,
without being afraid of our own faults!!
I feel your love reflection
In your eyes as they gaze back into mine
Writing a distant, neverending story
