Before I upgraded to Vista? Yes I think so.. I never changed anything...

its not recomended to upgrade to vista becuase for some strange reason upgrade uses the current drivers installed, and causes BSOD becuase there not supported.

You will need to start windows vista setup from boot, and format your Hard Drive.

Exactly:

Boot from the Vista DVD.
Choose "Clean Setup"
When prompted to choose a disk, format the current drive (by pressing "Advanced")
Continue with the install.
