USB peripherals not working when booting in Win10

EasyBCD doesn't do anthing just by being installed on your system, except occupy a small amount of disk space.
You have to run the program and tell it to make changes to your boot details for anything at all to happen.
If you tell it to do something dangerous it will attempt to warn you, but ultimately it's a power tool like regedit, and misuse of either can do harm.
Neither can do any damage just by being there unused.
