USB peripherals not working when booting in Win10

EasyBCD doesn't do anthing just by being installed on your system, except occupy a small amount of disk space.
You have to run the program and tell it to make changes to your boot details for anything at all to happen.
If you tell it to do something dangerous it will attempt to warn you, but ultimately it's a power tool like regedit, and misuse of either can do harm.
Neither can do any damage just by being there unused.
Did you run it?
If so what did you tell it to do?

USB Peripherals Not Working When Booting in Windows 10

If USB devices such as keyboards, mice, or external drives do not work during Windows 10 startup, the issue may be caused by incorrect BIOS settings, missing USB drivers, or outdated system firmware. First, try connecting the devices to different USB ports, especially USB 2.0 ports if available. Check BIOS settings and make sure USB support or legacy USB support is enabled. Updating chipset and USB drivers can also resolve the problem. If the issue occurs after a Windows update, use System Restore or reinstall the affected drivers. Keeping Windows and motherboard firmware updated helps prevent future USB boot-related problems.
