Win7: BOOTMGR is missing, and can't detect OS when selecting OS to repair

I have the exact same problem as poor iJump and for the exact same reason. I feel your pain! I don't know why Dell has to create 2 drives. My C drive was not large enough to hold all the programs I use. Now I am very sad that I get the dreaded bootmgr is missing when I turn on the PC. I also use Windows 7.

Now I am trying to re-read through all these messages to figure out which steps led to the least amount of pain. Any summary advice on where to start would be most appreciated!
