Here it is right out of the View Settings...

There are a total of 2 entries listed in the Vista Bootloader.
Bootloader TimeOut: 30 seconds.
Default OS: Microsoft Windows Vista

Entry #1

Name: Microsoft Windows Vista
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows

Entry #2

Name: XP Pro
BCD ID: {b59066ef-fc0d-11db-8ece-0016e683491b}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \ntldr

Yes that is how it was going. I had to through the bios and set it to the vista drive, so I got that worked out, but now I have a problem with XP. It still freezes. I have to get that worked out now. I don't think that has anything to do with the BDC.

Don't change drive orders from the BIOS - it only makes things worse.

Switch it back, have XP booting OK.
In XP install EasyBCD. Manage Bootloader -> Reinstall Vista Bootloader.

If the "View Settings" page has anything weird (like "deleted partition" or "unknown drive") go to the diagnostics page and press "recreate bcd files"

I tried to install EasyBCD on my XP side and it crashes. Is there a version that will work with XP. I saw get rid of the Vista bootloader. I didn't do it, but was wondering.
Thanks

This XP is messed upped. I have never seen it like this. By the way this is Abera. Abera Only seems to work when I'm running Vista. I have some pix of what is going on. The first is a text the is the Copy debug to clipboard

Code:
The system cannot find the file specified.

I'm going to see if I can upload the others. :lup:
I can see right now I can only up one at a time.

Interesting.

OK - boot into XP
Delete the BOOT folder from all drives (it should only be on one drive though)
Does it ask you to auto-fix your bootloader?
If not, go to the diagnostics screen and select recreate BCD files.

Choose the drive with boot.ini for your boot drive, select your vista drive letter as XP sees it, then let that finish.
Double-check the new entry to make sure vista is on the right drive, add an XP entry, add OS X.

Hummm This is what I'm getting now.

Code:
The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid.

Does it ask you to auto-fix your bootloader? No it didn't.
