You probably mean $50 but yeah thats very expensive. the next cheapest thing is dial-up for around 65 cents an hour but that comes out more expensive when u calculate it. But 2MB for 10 pounds sounds real nice. especially with unlimited download. I can only dream

i started Assassin's Creed on the 360 yesterday its pretty awesome
i finished the second mission/assassination just now ^_^
as for trying it on the PC
DONT, unless you have 2.8+ dual core, 3GB Ram, and i think its 8600 or better
so you might as well buy a 360 for less then all of what you would have to pay to upgrade lol

Donald! I believe your resolution is too hi. You have less then 10 FPS on some screenshots. Thats unplayable for my taste :??. At least, AT LEAST 25 FPS for kinda rough playing. 50+ is the real thing. :lol:

My Resolution is that high, yes, i have a small none-wide screen monitor. Ill take some images of it at small res for you
i only have a 8400GS its on DDR ram, not DDR2 or 3
as well, this game isnt all that big on movement, its nto a FPS, i can get 157 on HL2: lost coast
i get anyways from 30-80 FPS in COD4 with graphics on low

im getting angry at people that freak out about that, i mean some of the hardest games ever, never had check points, saves after level completion and of course they were 2D
well thats just my opinion, but i dont fancy graphics, i played HL1/2 both on the lowest settings, most due to my GFX card, but i had no problem with it.
If i took off the premium GFX on EVE my FPS would go back up above 50,
May i also remind you, in Eve (in the stations) very little is actually moving, your ship floats a little but thats it, sometimes theres other things too. Out in space, Very little is moving, except ships.
oh well i wont argue...

Latest update. They weren't just b*llsh*tt*ng when they said it would bed in. I just clocked it at 6.214Mb/s down and 383Kb/s up. Just waiting now for the VoIP second line to be activated and everything will be hunky dory.
(except I can't get my old Thinkpad connected wirelessly with the US60SE adapter. Being a wireless virgin I'm still groping in the dark to understand the whole business. Am I correct in thinking that I'm also going to have to get an ethernet card (the Thinkpad is too old to have one but does have built in iR). The installation pack seems to be saying that I'm going to have to establish a hardwired LAN first on W98 ? )
