    NLTUI.zip has been updated to the latest version with the in-house changes and improvements (changes have been committed to GitHub as well). Some fixes:

    * Better unicode support
    * Better RTL support
    * Segoe UI for better international fonts and rendering
    * Better automated locale cleanup
    * Better recognition of unchanged strings when simply passing over them

    A new EasyBCD build incorporating all the language updates I have received until now will be uploaded shortly. Note that I have made changes to the language files, both manually and via NLTUI's automated locale cleanup.

    Still missing updates for the following languages entirely:
    * Catalan
    * Spanish
    * Hebrew
    * Hungarian
    * Korean
    * Polish
    * Turkish
    * Chinese (Simplified)

    If no updates can be found for these languages, I am debating machine translation, outdated translations from v2.0 (unlikely), English strings for the missing values, or dropping the languages entirely - input and advice is welcome.

    EasyBCD 2.3 beta build 203 is now available with latest language files. Make sure to use this as the basis of any future updates, as all language files have been changed significantly!

    Of note, a new string has been added to the localization dialog called lnkTranslate. The English text for this is "Help translate EasyBCD to your language"
    I have manually translated this to the languages that have submitted updates for 2.3 so you don't have to worry about last minute additions. You are of course free to submit revisions and correct it if I got it wrong, I did my best via automatic translation plus heavy use of Googling and a dictionary, but I'm sure there are corrections to be made. It's important to keep the string as short as possible so it does not overextend the combobox beneath which it appears by too much.

    If you haven't submitted updates for 2.3, the window of opportunity to do so is closing fast. Please do so as soon as you can!

    @mqudsi
    Could be possible to enable multi-language installer?
    It's quite easy and we can help you to translate the strings used into the installer.

    Hello,

    French translation update for 2.3.0.203 BETA release.

    * Translation of "Help translate EasyBCD to your language" as short as possible : "Aider à traduire EasyBCD"
    * Simplification of the translation of the translation key "Body" in "SdiMaker"

    Regarding outdated translations, I opine that they are removed - with great regret seen the work done by translators. Indeed, erroneous translations could, by misunderstanding, generate fatal errors.
    En ce qui concerne les traductions obsolètes, je suis d'avis qu'elles soient supprimées - avec grand regret vu le travail effectué par les traducteurs. En effet, des traductions erronées pourraient, par incompréhension, engendrer des erreurs fatales.

    @bovirus thank you for the suggestion and offer. I've considered it in the past, but I was going to go with the pre-existing NSIS language packs which did not come with all the languages we were supporting in EasyBCD and decided against it at the time. I'll be happy to take you up on this for the next EasyBCD release but not for 2.3 which has been mostly finalized.

    @xb70walkyrie Merci beaucoup pour vos changements et aide. Je vais les intégrer dans le prochain build d'EasyBCD, Dieu voulant.
    Je suis d'accord avec vous en ce qui concerne les dangers d'avoir des textes dépassés ou incorrects, mais je pense que parce que les changements entre les texte de 2.2 et 2.3 ne sont pas très grands, peut-être nous pouvons faire les changements nécessaires pour les textes intégrales et garder les autres en anglais ? Le problème est que certains de ces langues qui ne sont pas actualisés sont important/populaires avec nos utilisateurs, comme l'espagnol et le polonais. Nous verrons...

    (Je souhaite que vous pouvez comprendre ce que j'ai essayé de dire. Je suis en train d'améliorer mon français assez d'être capable de tenir une telle discussion en français.)

    Votre français est parfaitement compréhensible, félicitation.

    Alors effectivement, si les modifications sont mineures, il serait bon de garder les traductions actuelles et de mettre le reste en anglais.

    Mille excuses, mais je pense que la plus fidèle serait la traduction suivante:"Aidez à traduire EasyBCD". (Pas "aider"!) Je suis sûr q'il ya de la place pour la phrase entière "Aidez à traduire EasyBCD dans votre langue".
    Parfaitement bien que se sont les Français qui décident.
    Pardonnez-moi de m'ingérer dans les affaires d'autrui! Bonne chance!

    @niknikch45 Vous êtes très courtois et serviable, merci de partager votre opinion !

    Je conviens aussi que ces décisions finales devraient être prises par les locuteurs natifs, et c'est pourquoi je leur donne aussi la capacité de choisir les autres options qui concernent l'apparence d'EasyBCD dans leurs langues, comme la taille de la fenêtre, la font (je ne sais pais le mot correct en français ?) du texte, et la taille du texte, mais les avis de tous sont vraiment bienvenus.

    Effectivement traduire toute la phrase était possible et ne provoquait pas de dépassement.
    Mais je désirais 2 choses en ne mettant pas "dans votre langue" :
    • Respecter le souhait de l'auteur avec une traduction la plus courte possible sans dénaturer le sens de la phrase
    • Inviter les traducteurs potentiels à traduire non seulement dans leur langue mais aussi dans d'autre langues s'il en avaient la connaissance et l'envie
    Ensuite pourquoi avoir choisi un infinitif plutôt que le présent :
    • Pour assurer le plus possible une homogénéité de forme verbale sur l'ensemble de la traduction
    • Pour donner un caractère plus informatif qu’incitatif, ce lien, à mon sens, ce voulant une facilité pour les traducteurs.
    @mqudsi : oui le terme "font" (en anglais) "fonte" (en français) est très correct en français mais peu usité car souvent confondu avec la police d'écriture

    Cher Mr. xb70walkyrie!
    Je vous remercie pour votre réponse détaillée! Je ne suis pas d'accord avec tous vos arguments. Mais combien de gens, tant d'avis. N'est-ce pas?
    Cependent une chose que je suis fermement, la traduction faite par des locuteurs natifs, sera toujours préférable. Parce qu'elle sera beaucoup mieux, beaucoup plus fidèle, plus correcte, plus bien écrite, etc.
    Voilà pourquoi je vous demande encore une fois à pardonner de mon immixtion dans les affaires l'autrui!
    Adieu, tout le meilleur!:smile:

    @xb70walkyrie merci pour votre explications et les détails. Peut-être je n'étais pas très précis quand j'ai dit "le plus court possible" — je vous demanderais de se rappeler que en anglais j'ai utilisé «Help translate EasyBCD to your language» et pas «Help translate EasyBCD» ou «Help translate EasyBCD to another language» alors même que le premier est plus court et le deuxième et plus inclusif. Mais s'il y a une raison pour changer le sens sous-jacent des phrases, bien-sûr, parce-que pas toutes les langues peuvent être traités de la même manière.

    EasyBCD 2.3 Beta build 205 has just been released. Also, all changes have been pushed to GitHub.

    This build features native updates from Åke for the Swedish translation for missing/outdated strings. In addition, I've gone through and manually did the best I could patching up the languages for which we have not received formal updates for EasyBCD 2.3, as detailed below:

    For languages whose maintainers have not responded with regards to the
    changes in EasyBCD 2.3 (ca, es, he, hu, ko, pl, tr, zh-CHS), they have
    been manually updated as follows:

    * Where a near-definitive translation could be located online for keys
    (mostly for minor changes or single-word translations), the update
    was made and the translation for that key was marked as synced and
    correct.
    * Where a non-complete translation was made that suffices to inform the
    user of the correct intent behind a feature could be made but that
    does not fully convey the meaning of the original English text, the
    change was made but the key has remained marked as out-of-date for
    future reference.
    * Where a translation could not be made without help of a native
    speaker and the existing translation is outright incorrect or
    invalid, the key was removed and the English text will substitute in
    its place until such a time that the correct translation can be
    made/obtained.

    For the Hebrew (he) translation: this is a very incomplete translation
    and is at risk of being removed in the future. It has been updated
    according to the instructions outlined above, but as much of the
    non-UI text remains untranslated, it is in need of a new maintainer and
    serious attention.

    @niknikch45 j'ai ajouté vos modifications à la nouvelle version.

    @Azadfar2009 The instructions are at the first post. We're not accepting any changes or additions for version 2.3, but I'll be happy to include in the next update.
    The RTL (right-to-left) option is set in properties.xml after creating the translation. It's already used for Arabic.
